How to become a We Grow Forest Volunteer?
To become a volunteer, the first step is filling up the Volunteer Google Form. After verifying the google form, We Grow Forest Team will contact the interested aspirant to explain the volunteership formalities. The next important process is to subscribe We Grow Forest Club Membership. The Club Membership is the passport to all the We Grow Forest activities. After subscribing to the Club Membership, We Grow Forest Team will contact you within a week to explain in detail the working process and further procedures. If you are interested to proceed further, relevant documents should be emailed to us.
A volunteer is an important position and hence we will do background verification of the aspirant through an external agency. Once this step is over, the volunteer will be inducted into a chapter. Induction and training will be given for the volunteers through the We Grow Forest Team. Volunteers are inducted into Chapters and they will be known as a member of the chapter. (Please refer to Chapter formation as well)
What does it cost to be a Club Member and what are the benefits?
It costs 999/- to get a Club Membership. There are a lot of benefits once you become a club member. We Grow Forest Foundation’s digital platform Virtual Name Connect will provide all Club Members with a “Digital Business Card” known as InfiCard. You can also avail of all other digital products and services offered by Virtual Name Connect at discounted rates.
The volunteer will get awarded with a Green Warrior certificate provided by We Grow Forest Foundation for his/her contributions to forest conservation activities and also gets an opportunity to develop leadership and teamwork skills. This is a platform to learn and improve knowledge for personal & professional growth. The volunteers will get proper training on leadership and coordination of various events. They can also spend their time, hard work, and experience in conservation practices.
